I have some snags for you all today made with the adorable "Thank You" tube by Lix. This was a gift tube from Lix for purchasing her charity tube. Do not use this tube if it wasn't sent to you by Lix. You can check out the rest of her tubes here. These snags were made with the awesome tutorial "Heavenz" by Dave here. *WARNING* If you decide to check the tut out, the example contains AC.

Jingle My Bells
This is a new tutorial written by me. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. I'm assuming that you have a basic knowledge of PSP and it's tools, but if you need some help, give me a shout. Please note that a lot of my filters have been imported into Filters Unlimited.
Supplies
Paint Shop Pro. (I use version 9, but this should work in all versions.)
Tube of choice. The one I'm using is by Celinart Pinup, and can be purchased here.
Tramages>Cirquelate
Tramages>Holidays in Egypt
DSB Flux>Bright Noise
Eye Candy 4000>Gradient Glow
Preset shape of choice. I'm using one called Star2. (I don't know where I originally got this, so I can't share.)
Elements of choice. The ones I'm using are part of the tube.
Vix Mask 434 here.
Fonts of choice. The ones I'm using are Lokal Script 33 and Apricot.
1. Open a new canvas 800 x 800. We'll crop and resize later.
2. Set your foreground to a color from your tube, and your background to null.
3. Choose your preset shape tool and draw your shape as a vector with a line width of 8. Center in canvas.
4. Duplicate this layer, then flip it. You should have something like this. (Please note: I'm using a white background to make it a little easier to see while I'm working.)
5. Merge your two shape layers.
6. Take your magic wand and click inside all the little shapes. I clicked the center first. Then started at the top and worked my way around in a circle, so I wouldn't miss any.
7. Go to Selections>Expand by 3
8. Add a new raster layer and drag this under your shape layer. Flood fill with a different color from your tube. Select none.
9. Go to Effects>Tramages>Holidays in Egypt and apply with the following settings.
10. Now go to Effects>Tramages>Cirquelate with the following settings. This filter will change the colors of the layer to coincide with your foreground and background colors, so make sure they are both colors you want in your tag.
11. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. I want her to look like she's coming out of my frame, so I'm going to paste her under the frame layer to start. If you don't want to do this, add a drop shadow of choice to your tube, and skip to step 17.
12. Duplicate your tube, and drag the duplicate layer to the top of your layer palette. Hide this layer for now.
13. On your original tube layer, carefully erase the bottom portion of your tube. You should have something like this.
14. Add a drop shadow to this layer.
15. Click on your frame/shape layer. Add a drop shadow to it as well.
16. Unhide your duplicated tube layer. Erase the bottom portion of this.
17. Add a new raster layer and drag to the bottom. Flood fill with a color from your tube.
18. Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image and choose Vix Mask 434.
19. Layers>Merge Group.
20. Duplicate this layer and resize the duplicate to 80%.
21. Add any embellishments that you like. The tube I'm using by Celinart has tons of awesome layers, so I hung her Christmas lights from my frame.
22. At this point. Crop and resize your tag. I like a smaller tag, so I resized mine to 60%.
23. Type out the word "Jingle" in a fat font with create as vector checked. The font I'm using is Lokal Script 33 size 72. Apply and stretch to fit your canvas. Convert to raster layer.
24. Effects>Texture Effects>Blinds with the following settings.
25. Effects>Eye Candy 4000>Gradient Glow with the following settings. On the color tab, click the fat preset.
26. Add a drop shadow of choice.
27. Using a smaller, scripty font, type out the words "my bells". I used the font Apricot size 36. Position at the bottom right of the word Jingle.
28. Effects>DSB Flux>Bright Noise at 75% Mix.
29. Effects>Eye Candy 4000>Gradient Glow with the same setting as above, except change the size to 3.
30. Add a drop shadow of choice.
31. Add your copyright and name, and save as PNG or JPEG.
That's it! I hope you've had fun with this tutorial.
