CT Snags - FantaSea by Freek's Creations

I'm back again with some more snags for you featuring the lovely under water kit FantaSea by Freek's Creations.  This kit contains 69 elements, 2 frames, 2 word arts and 14 papers, and it's an under water paradise.  You can purchase this kit at Mystical Scraps here and Scraps & Company here.

My first set of snags is using an image by Jon Rattenbury.  I purchased this image when he was at MPT.  Sadly, I don't believe Jon Rattenbury is still selling his images for use in tags any longer.  Please do not use his images in your projects if you have not previously purchased them.

My next set of snags is using the adorable fairy art of Carolina Seabra.  You can purchase her tubes at her store here. Please do not use her tubes without purchasing them.  I wanted to bring you under the sea with the mermaids and the fishes on this set.  I hope I've achieved that.

CT Snags - Curiouser & Curiouser

Hi everyone!  I'm back with some more snags today.  First, I would like to say that I love Alice in Wonderland.  I mean, really, who doesn't?  So, this next kit Curiouser & Curiouser by Creative Scraps by Crys is perfect for all those Alice tags, wall papers and other projects.  It contains 75 elements and 20 papers, and I had such a hard time deciding just what to use.  (I wanted to use them all.)

You can purchase this kit at Mystical Scraps here or Scraps & Company here.

My first set of snags is using the beautiful artwork of Very Many.  She has several really great Alice tubes.  You can purchase her tubes here.

My second set of snags features the adorable artwork of Maryline Cazenave.  After all, who says Alice has to be a human?  You can find Maryline's tubes at CDO here.

Garden Path (CT Tutorial Freek's Creations)

I have a new tutorial for you all today.  Be gentle with me.  It's been a while since I've actually written one.

I used the gorgeous kit Forget Me Not by Freek's Creations.  It contains 80 elements, 4 frames, 4 word arts, and 17 papers.  It's perfect for those spring/summer tags, and the combination of yellow and blue is just so pretty to me.

Supplies
Tube of choice.  I use a tube by Marika, which can be purchased at CDO.
Scrapkit - Forget Me Not by Freek's Creations.  You can purchase this kit from Mystical Scraps or Scraps & Co.
Mask 92 by Moombeams & Spiderwebs
Font of choice.  I used Ellie Mae Demo.
Filters - Mura's Meister Copies and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (optional.)

1.  Open a new canvas 800 x 800.
2.  Copy and paste paper 12 as a new layer.
3.  Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image.  Choose Moonbeams & Spiderwebs mask 92.  Merge group.
4.  C/P frame 1 as a new layer.  Resize by 80%.4
5.  Click inside your frame with your magic wand.  Expand by 5 pixels.
6.  Add a new raster layer.  Paste paper 9 into selection.
7.  Drag this layer below your frame.
8. With your frame layer active, paste element 46 as a new layer.
9.  Resize by 75% and move toward the bottom of the frame, so it looks like it's coming out of the frame.
10.  Erase the little piece of the path that over laps your frame of the left.
11.  C/P your tube as a new layer and resize as necessary.  I resized my tube by 75% and placed her on the bottom center of the path.
12.  C/P element 24 and resize by 75%.  Move to the bottom of the path.
13.  C/P element 22 and resize by 35%.
14.  Apply Mura's Meister Copies with the following settings.

15.  Drag this layer to just above the mask layer in your layer palette.
16.  Duplicate this layer and rotate 30 degrees to the left.
17.  C/P element 76 as a new layer and resize by 35%.
18.  Apply Mura's Meister copies with the following settings.

19.  Duplicate this layer and rotate 30 degrees to the left.
20.  Drag the original layer in between the two leaf layers.
21.  On your top flower layer, C/P element 70 as a new layer. Resize 15%.
22.  Apply Mura's Meister copies with the following settings.

23.  With your frame layer active, C/P element 23 as a new layer.
24.  Resize by 50% and rotate 75 degrees to the right.
25.  Move this layer near the bottom of your canvas so it is coming from behind the path.  Duplicate and mirror.
26.  C/P element 73 as a new layer and resize by 50%.  Move the the bottom of the canvas, so it is coming from behind the path.  Duplicate and mirror.
27.  C/P element 77 as a new layer and resize by 50%.  Move to the top left of frame.  Duplicate and mirror.
28.  On your top layer, C/P element 40 as a new layer and resize by 25%.  Move to the edge of the path at the bottom.  Duplicate and mirror.
29.  Duplicate again and move up a little.  Duplicate one more time and mirror again.
30.  C/P element 66 as a new layer and resize by 35%.  Move to the bottom right of the path.
31.  At this point, add any other elements that you like to make it your own.  I added a basket a bird, a butterfly, a sun, and a scatter because I really like those scatters on this type of tag.
32.  Add a drop shadow to your tube and all your elements.  I used H/V - 2  O - 50 B - 5.
33.  Crop any excess canvas and resize to your tastes.  I resized mine by 65%.
34.  Add your copyright credits and name.  I added a fat glow to my name.

CT Clowning Around Snags

Hi everyone!  One of these days, I'm going to get brave and try writing a tut for you all.  In the meantime, I have some more snags for you all.  This time, they are using the fantastic kit Clowning Around by Creative Scraps by Crys.  This totally adorable kit has 98 elements and 22 papers, so there is lots to play with.  You can purchase this kit at Mystical Scraps here or Scraps & Company here

So, a little background information.  I love clowns.  My dad is a clown, and I do love my dad...even when he drives me crazy, which he still does even after all these years.  I grew up around clowns and even dabbled in clowning myself.  One of these days, I just might get myself an outfit together and run away to join the circus.  (Probably not, but it's fun to dream.)

On that note, my first tag is circus themed, and I made all with the scrap kit....no tubes used.  I simply had fun with it.  Here are the extras I made for you.

I went a bit more traditional and made just a fun tag with my next set of snags.  This kit isn't just about clowns.  It's about fun.  I used the artwork of Lady Mishka under license with Pics for Design.
